I looked under the ArcObjects portions of the ESRI web site and found the following under the ArcObjects 10 SDK system requirements - operating system limitations: ' When running in a 64-bit environment, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Engine, and ArcReader run as a 32-bit application' I think that the ArcObjects SDK, which Map is using to connect to the geodatabase, is only available under a 32 bit platform (or a 32 bit version of Map). It is available for the AutoCAD Map 3D 32-bit version only. Under the Map 2012 on-line help, it says: ' The ArcGIS provider uses the ESRI ArcObjects 10 API. Unfortunately, I think that you can't connect to a geodatabase from Map 2012 64 bit.
